The Peace Bell Rings in the Industrial Ancient City of Italy
Love and Peace Shine upon Turin
The Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) delegation returned to Italy this year after their visit to the Republic of San Marino last year (2023). Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, the grandmaster of Tai Ji Men and president of FOWPAL, led the delegation in promoting a culture of love and conscience in Italy from May 7th to 15th. On the 10th, the team arrived in Turin, an important industrial city in northern Italy, and met with Domenico Garcea, Vice President of the Turin City Council. Mr. Garcea rang the Bell of World Love and Peace and made a wish for peace. He also signed “The Declaration of World Day of the Power of Hope,” advocating for global unity in pursuit of love and peace.
Turin, Italy’s third-largest city and a vital industrial hub in the north, is famous for its Egyptian Museum and Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Beyond promoting love, peace, and cultural exchange, the delegation's visit carried special significance with the ringing of the Bell of World Peace and Love. Each toll symbolized a commitment to love and peace. The solemn bell ceremony began at the Turin City Council. Dr. Hong rang the bell and stated, "Amidst turmoil and unrest, may the bell toll spread far and wide, carrying the message of hope. Let humanity unite for justice, righteousness, and enduring peace!" Vice President of the Turin City Council, Domenico Garcea, praised Dr. Hong's efforts in spreading the message of global peace. Domenico Garcea was the 550th bell ringer and echoed his wish for global peace, "In this difficult time, we need much love for our fellow citizens and our people."
Domenico Garcea expressed that ringing the bell was a very special day for him and the city of Turin. He felt extremely honored to ring the bell in the city. Experiencing the bell ringing is a very gratifying feeling for him. Mr. Garcea hoped that prominent figures in both the political and cultural domain could resonate the sound of love and peace around the world.
Domenico Garcea personally led the delegation to visit the Turin City Council Chamber, home to countless classical art treasures and artifacts. He explained the process and procedures of council meetings, demonstrating a high level of hospitality and attention. As the delegation prepared to leave, Domenico Garcea personally bid farewell and presented Dr. Hong with a special brooch representing the emblem of the Turin City Council.

Dr. Hong has guided his disciples to 103 countries across the globe, advocating for peace through cultural exchanges, bell-ringing ceremonies, and summit events. His endeavors have echoed the message of peace worldwide, bringing tranquility and harmony to humanity, while inspiring numerous acts of conscience toward a sustainable future for the world.
